Christian Response to Project 2025
As Christians living in the United States of America, we have a responsibility to protect the least of these and stand up against those who would hurt the most vulnerable of our nation—especially when they try to manipulate our faith to do it.
Make no mistake—Project 2025 is co-opting Christianity to push a political agenda, and in doing so threatens the Christian witness across the entire nation.
What is Project 2025?
Project 2025 is a policy blueprint spearheaded by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative Washington D.C. think tank, along with former Trump Administration officials and MAGA movement allies.
Project 2025 aims to “assemble an army” to deconstruct the United States government as we know it: cutting funding to veterans’ healthcare and disability programs, military housing and insurance, and even education and nutrition programs for little children.
And it won’t stop there. Project 2025 also undermines the programs that help us fulfill our duties as Christians: creation care and stewardship (Genesis 2:15), building strong and stable families with resources like contraception and IVF (1 Timothy 5:8), and showing compassion to immigrants (Leviticus 19:33-34).
What’s worse? Project 2025 is doing all of this in God’s name.
As Believers grounded by Scripture and biblical truth, we recognize Project 2025 for what it truly is and are speaking out against the manipulation of our faith for political gain.
Please join us by adding your name to our prayer. Together, we can stand up for Christian values.
Our Prayer
As Christians, we are deeply troubled by Project 2025. This plan threatens American heroes and our nation’s most vulnerable, cutting essential funding to veterans’ healthcare, disability programs, military housing, insurance, and even the education and nutrition programs for American children.
What grieves us most is that Project 2025 claims to act in God’s name. As believers grounded in Scripture and biblical truth, we see through this manipulation and feel compelled to speak out against it.
Together, we pray that the American people will come together and stop this terrible plan before it’s too late.
